Phase 1: Quillix Ventures Founded and Initial Growth (February 2021 – May 2023)

  • February 2021: Quillix Ventures Private Limited was founded by Jeel B. (CTO), Yogesh S. (CEO), and Nikhil K. (CFO), focusing on IT solutions such as website development and application design.

  • May 2023: Expansion with the launch of a digital marketing department to enhance client services.

Phase 2: Ideation and Research (October – December 2024)

  • October 2024: Yogesh S. shares his vision for the Umbrella LGBTQ Social Media App with the core team.

  • November 2024: Market research and competitor analysis conducted to identify the needs of the LGBTQ+ community.

  • December 2024: UI/UX design process begins, and recruitment for additional developers starts.

Phase 3: Development and Fundraising (January – February 2025)

  • January 2025: Front-end and back-end development begins.

  • February 2025: Launch of the Initial Digital Offering (IDO) to secure funding for the project.

Phase 4: Beta Launch Preparation (March – October 2025)

  • March 2025: Continued development and feature integration.

  • June 2025: Internal testing and quality assurance.

  • October 2025: Beta version of the app launched globally, with users invited to test and provide feedback.

Phase 5: Post-Beta Roadmap (October 2025 and Beyond)

  • 2026: Launch of an in-app marketplace for LGBTQ+-friendly products and services.
